The talks will cover an overview of the acute management of common shoulder sports trauma conditions and we suggest using a case as a starting point. This case may be referred to during the talk and may act as a reference to any presented literature. The talks should be targeted mainly at the ‘general’ orthopaedic surgeon for the bulk of the presentation with the possibility of introducing the audience to some more advanced pearls as a finishing highlight.
Part 2 – 30 mins – case study session
Presentation of multiple cases by the session chairpersons to gain opinions from the panel of speakers and encourage audience participation with their questions and opinions.
The cases will highlight some more rare but clinically important variations on the more broad 3 topics of the surgical talks, an example being what to do with a combined injury?
