FORT MYERS, Fla. –ÌýSouth Carolina (3-3) faces Virginia Tech (3-3) tonight in the consolation game of the Fort Myers Tip-Off. Game time is set for 6 p.m. (ET) with FS1 providing TV coverage again.

The ÈȵãºÚÁÏ and Hokies met for the first time since 1997 last year on a neutral floor Nov. 10 in non-conference action, part of the Hall of Fame Series at the Spectrum Center in downtown Charlotte. Carolina was victorious, 79-77, as B.J. Mack hit the go-ahead basket with 20 seconds remaining. Myles Stute hit five 3s to lead the way with 21 points for the ÈȵãºÚÁÏ.

The victory was the 100^th career win for head coach Lamont Paris.

Carolina is 3-1 on neutral courts the last two years in the regular season with its only loss to No. 22/22 Xavier on Monday night in the semifinals of the Fort Myers Tip-Off.
